also, i am completely amazed at how my nephews dint manage to make on to the list of peace prize ... coz whenever they go off to sleep at night.. there is a very welcome peace.. wherever they had been that day .. ;) ;)

The first day

i was asleep .. but not lost completely in my sleep.. as i usually would be .. it was more like i was just laying there for the alarm to go off so that i could get up n get going..

i got up .. finally when the first strokes of my 1945 german 18 jewels alarm clock started going off.. after finishing off my breakfast and the daily routine i started to get ready for what i was waiting.. going to college.. first day of degree college.. having said that this day was 3 years ago, i can still remember the details of the people who were in the bus with me - if im pressed enough.

Ive been thinking of writing about this day for a long time now.. but ive finally found the time now ... i still remember how constricted the space inside the college doors seemed when i walked in on that day .. of course it was crowded.. it was the first day of college.. orientation and everything.. not only were there students, but also all their parents - both of them in some cases - but i had experience of what lengths orientations can bore a normal claustrophobic human brain to .. so i left my parents out of the torture. But i had to attend the damn thing .. so i went in .. having nothing else to do on the first day.. i was given company by aziz - who dint have anything better to do in college- who promptly volunteered to sign as my "guardian" lol..

after almost an hour of the same thing being repeated by different heads(ill save the principals story for another blog) the orientation was finally over and i headed over to the class 504 .. the college building had a typical post-independence aura to it.. 20 ft high ceilings made for nice ventilation and also increased the number of steps to be climbed per floor to reach the ever elusive fifth floor. when i finally reached there.. i was a bit out of breath.. but finding the class room wasnt a problem as it was the first thing that hit the eyes when entering the fifth floor..

It turned out that going to the canteen for a drink after the orientation was not the smartest thing to do as the class was seemingly overflowing with expectant faces waiting for the lecturer to show himslef(im sorry if im being a sexist again) .. and also the moment i appeared at the door, i felt countless eyeballs falling over me and there was a distinctive silence that fell over the class - perhaps they thought that i was gonna take the lecture.. lol.. the beard did come in handy then ;) ... i scanned the class for any empty space in the two rows at the back.. and finding one straight at the end made my way towards it.. the rest of the day was very uneventful as i decided on bunking the remaining lectures after finding the FC lecture so boring that i was amazed at how the college maintenance managed to clean all the drool off the class floor.. (i guess it just evaporates)..

I just thought i'd post this memory .. missing college days.. started working now.. and its strange what "getting paid for something" and "paying for something" can do to your mentality .. and i guess i've realised the truth in my VP's speech that he gave at our farewell .. "In college you make friends, at work you make colleagues" ..

End of the week ..

long time no see..

yeah.. not seen myslf lately..

been busy .. work .. tends to get a bit mentally stressing ..

sitting in front of a PC for 8 hours can take its toll when ur actually having to do brain activity with it .. ;) ..

so .. yeah.. work today was nice.. wel.. almost..

the climate was just the way i like it .. not sunny..

some ppl dont like the sun a lot ... well. i dont have a prob with the sun.. it does bring life to all beings that live on the solar system... (u thought u were alone!?) .. lol..

so anyways.. i dont mind it as long as it doesnt make me sweaty..

sweaty to a certain extent is good.. that way.. the water in the body gets out.. and i dont have to bother peeing.. but a lot of sweat tends to get on the nerves at times.. i have to take a bath then..

not somthing i look forward to ..

its like 12.30 in the night.. and its been a long time since ive been awake so late...

yeah.. never thought i;d be making such a statement..

but thats life... im seeing truth in the word of amir khan aka DJ (RDB) "campus ke ek tarf hum zindagi ko nachate hai.. te duji tarf zindagi hamein .. tim lak lak de tim lak lak"...

but .. rest assured .. id like to see them try ... bain de takke ;)

Things around the house

hey ppl ..

resuming blogging after a very very long time..

so its a nice welcome change..

got paid.. at the new job im doin...

so im planning to blow up the money (as usual ;) ) .. .

so.. im thinking of buying a few things.. mp3 player, back phones.. cellphone.. etc...

also thinking about doing a few new things with the house..

getting the AC and the wiring repaired.. fixing the leak in the roof, .. and a few other household chores.. which i'd rather not mention over the internet.. ;) ;)

but the pain is that im working 5 days a week and am usually too stressed out to work in the weekdays... and i am still very very lazy in the weekends.. (isnt it obvious? i cant change ;) ;) )

any ideas so as to how i can accomplish these tasks without being any less lazy?

hey poeple ..
just another day in my life..
went to niit.. lec got cancelled..
went fro shrek 3.. with frnds..
then went back to niit for SCJP lec..
it dinr get cancelled...
but its was tough ... java, its not easy..
then came back home.
and had a thought..
actually . it was more of a memory..
i remembered the sight of flames rising through the high chimney of some oil refinery i saw from the train at baroda...
the sky was dark due to nightfall then ..
and the intensity of hte flames illuminated the surroundings...
back hten ,, i was hit with a thought..
waht is the shape of light ???
and i was hit with the answer.. at the back of my head..
the shape of light is spherical ..
the shape depends on the intensity of the light
higher the intensity or power ... greater or bigger the sphere gets...
or vice versa ..

hey..
today started off normally,.,.
got up..
went to collg.. first day ;)
but got all pissed when i got to collg..
firstly coz the campus was filled with poeple for admissions..
and secondly..
just 5 mins before we were abt to leave for the lecture... the first lecture of the year!!
the vice prnciple came upto us n said, "please leave teh campus"..
coz we werent gonna have any lecs..
that was complete bull shit..
but we still hung out at the collg..
then we kinda went to McDonalds for a bite..
n then a bit of shoppin at the causeway,,,
and was home ..
back home i did some urdu compilations.. which forunately.. a lot of people liked!!
adb then i had some work at the hospital to finish off...
so i went out for a good ride,,
turns out,, humming good old slow songs while ridin a bike is good for the riders brain n control!!
i wasnt ridin recklessly.. but more controlled..
again home..
i watched some Tv. ad food n am back on the PC...
gues il g oto sleep now...

this has been a good day...
i got my passport.. and drivers license...
and i had the opportunity to be flattened twice!!!
but i survived both!!!!
